The Rev. Sarah Odderstol has been an Episcopal clergy person for over 20 years and currently serves as the Rector of Grace Episcopal Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. She and her partner, Eric, have two adult children and two "high-maintenance" cats, Lefty and Moxie. Sarah is a curious creator who enjoys cooking, gardening, sewing, and writing, and she brings a spirit of artistic exploration to her life and ministry.

Project Description:
Building on the existing commitment of her congregation, Sarah is developing a formal Racial Equity framework to guide Grace Episcopal Church’s strategic plan. The project aims to move the community beyond a sense of "having arrived," instead fostering a renewed urgency for justice. By prioritizing lifelong learning and shared accountability, the project seeks to embody a community of faith that actively challenges racism and practices the transformative love of a Beloved Community.
