Project Description:
This project explores how to foster "Beloved Community" within the often-isolating landscape of American suburbs. Recognizing that many suburban areas were built on foundations of segregation and restrictive covenants, Grey seeks to understand how the Church can serve as a vital "third space." The project asks: How can we build community and connection in places where geographic and social barriers have historically discouraged neighbors from knowing one another?
