Educational Resources
EDSConnect is the continuing education department at Episcopal Divinity School. Our mission is to provide education and resources for congregational leaders, with a focus on the ministry of the baptized. Our hybrid learning program allows participants to stay in their home environment while engaging in training and formation for ministry on a continuing education basis (noncredit). All EDSConnect resources for are available to all regardless of ordination status, denomination, or previous theological education.

Hybrid Learning Program: EDS' Training and Formation for Ministry 
We offer a series of hybrid learning courses designed for groups of 9-16 people in the same diocese, deanery, area, or other similar group. These courses are useful for ministry support teams, covenant groups, and individuals who have discerned a call to one of the many parish ministries and need preparation for performing and leading others in that ministry.
 
Hybrid learning is our unique approach to online courses which involves:
  • local support for processing and contextualizing the subject matter
  • multi-media presentation of course content
  • both synchronous and asynchronous class discussion with the instructor
  • personal assistance for participants unfamiliar with digital environment
