On foot from the Harvard Square subway (the 'T' Station)

Take the Church Street exit from the station. Follow Church St. two blocks, and take a right on Brattle St. After about four blocks, Brattle St. is intersected by Mason St. and Ash St. The EDS chapel and library can be seen from this intersection, on the right side of Brattle St. Continue straight on Brattle to the entrance on the right, follow the path past the chapel, toward the right, to a campus map.

By subway ("T") from South Station: from the main level of the train terminal, go two floors down to the subway station and take the Red Line in-bound (toward Alewife) to the Harvard Square stop (6 stops after South Station). Take the Church Street exit from the Harvard Square station. Follow Church St. two blocks, and take a right on Brattle St. After about four blocks, Brattle St. is intersected by Mason St. and Ash St. The EDS chapel and library can be seen from this intersection, on the right side of Brattle St. Continue straight on Brattle to the entrance on the right, follow the path past the chapel, toward the right, to a campus map.
By subway ("T") from Logan Airport: catch the Silver Line bus from terminal to South Station; transfer to the red-line at South Station; take the red-line out-bound toward Alewife and get off at Harvard Square; follow directions from Harvard Square 'T' station listed above.
By Car

By car from the west (Mass. Pike, I-90): take the Allston/Cambridge exit off the Pike, go through the tollbooth and follow the signs to Cambridge. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Memorial Drive. Take a right onto JFK (Kennedy) St., go to the third light (Harvard Square), and take a left onto Brattle St. Brattle St. forks to the right in about 50 yards: take this fork and follow Brattle St. about five blocks to where it is intersected by Mason and Ash streets. The EDS chapel and library can be seen from this intersection.
To park in the P lot: Take a right onto Mason St., go two blocks to the traffic light and take a left onto Garden St. Go straight ahead for a short distance and take a left onto Berkeley St. by the side of the Sheraton Commander Hotel. Berkeley St. runs into the back of the EDS campus; turn Right into EDS, visitor parking is along the back fence.
To park in the Q lot: Continue straight on Brattle Street and turn right into the first driveway after the intersection of Mason, Ash, and Brattle Streets.

Directions off of Rte 2 EAST: Stay in right-hand lane going south on Alewife Brook Parkway. (Alewife T station will be on your right.). At the first rotary, take the first exit onto CONCORD AVE / US-3 S / MA-16 W / MA-2 E. Move into left hand lane, and at the second rotary take the second exit on to CONCORD AVE. Concord Ave. will eventually merge right into GARDEN ST.
To park in the P lot: Turn right at BERKELEY ST (before the Sheraton Commander Hotel). Entrance to EDS will be at the end of the block on the right.
To park in the Q lot: Continue on Garden St. to MASON ST. (there is a traffic light at this intersection). Turn right, then right again at the intersection of Mason and BRATTLE ST. Turn right into the first driveway after the intersection of Mason and Brattle Streets.

By car from I-93 North or South: take the Storrow Drive exit off I-93 and follow it west to Harvard Square exit (Anderson Bridge). When you cross the bridge, you are on Kennedy St.; go to the third light (Harvard Square), and take a left onto Brattle St. Brattle St. forks to the right in about 50 yards: take this fork and follow Brattle St. about five blocks to where it is intersected by Mason and Ash streets. The EDS chapel and library can be seen from this intersection.

By Air

The easiest way by air is to fly into Logan Airport, Boston. From Logan, follow the directions to take the subway. Allow at least an hour for that trip. Less expensive flights are available to Manchester NH, and Providence RI, a rental car will be required for the one to one and a half hour drive to Cambridge. From Manchester, take 93 South and follow the directions above. From Providence, take I-93 North, I-95 North to I-90 East and follow the directions above.
Staying on Campus?

If you arrive on campus during office hours, please check in at the Housing Office, located on the first floor in Burnham Hall. Burnham Hall is across the courtyard from the Chapel. If you drive to campus and follow the driving directions above, you will end up in the Visitor Parking lot. This lot is directly behind Burnham Hall.
If you arrive on campus after office hours, please call the Residence Coordinator on call from the payphone located in Lawrence Hall. Lawrence Hall is located diagonally across the courtyard from the Chapel. Please DO NOT call the Residence Coordinator until you arrive on campus. The call is free from any of the pay phones located on campus. If you are meeting a Residence Coordinator for check-in, the meeting point is in front of Reed Hall. Reed Hall is across the courtyard from the Chapel, and just down the walkway from Lawrence Hall. If you drive to campus and follow the driving directions above, you will end up in the Visitor Parking lot. This lot is directly behind Burnham Hall. Reed Hall and Lawrence Hall are down the walkway from Burnham Hall.
