New Congregational Resources Related to the Windsor Report
Episcopal Divinity School announces the availability of two new resources designed to help clergy and lay people in the Episcopal Church develop a clearer understanding of the role of The Windsor Report issued by the Lambeth Commission on Communion. The first, "An Imagined Conversation on the Lambeth Commission with the Rev. Ian T. Douglas, Ph.D." was developed at the request of the Rt. Rev. Thomas Shaw, Bishop of the Diocese of Massachusetts, who was looking for a resource on the Lambeth Commission on Communion for the clergy of Massachusetts, Rev. Douglas wrote an "imagined conversation" in which he has tried to set the context for both the Commission and its report.

The second resource, "The Middle Way: A Congregational Resource for Discussing the Windsor Report" by the Rt. Rev. Steven Charleston, developed out of his closing plenary session at the recent Justice IS Orthodox Theology conference in Atlanta. During his presentation, Bishop Charleston offered a context in which members of the Anglican Communion can study, discuss, and interpret this report in a way that offers new ground for dialogue and hopefully, reconciliation.
