Procter Scholars Program

An endowed scholarship which provides for a semester in residence for ordained and lay persons involved in ministry, the Procter Scholars Program offers opportunities for individual study and for participation in courses as desired at EDS and throughout the Boston Theological Institute. Procter Scholars are chosen for each academic year and may begin in either the Fall or Spring term. Expenses covered by the scholarship include tuition, a single room, and a meal card, which covers most weekday meals.  The application deadlines are February 1 for the Fall semester and November 1 for the Spring semester. To apply, please send your CV and a project description (including a rationale why EDS is a good match for the particular project; and how the project contributes to EDS's mission) to EDS’s academic dean, Dr. Angela Bauer-Levesque, by the respective deadline.
